Well now, pictures would be nice. Guess maybe I better learn how to use my camera so the next time we want to post some, they will be there in the camera. I actually thought I was taking pictures. I mean, the flash worked !!! But when Chuck went to download them into the computer, they were gone....like never there. So next time we post, I WILL have pictures as it appears Chuck will be giving me lessons. Isn't this what all wifes just LIVE for .... your husband to tell you how to do something.... actually, living with Mr. technical man, you would think I would know more than I go. However, it is much easier for me to just ask him to set it up, and then I can just click on an icon and have fun. Guess when it comes to camera's my all play and no pay attention days are over. (Damm, I hate using my brian, after all, I AM suppost to be the trophy wife am I not!!)

We got into Tucson today. Cold, very cold. When we left Deming at six a.m. it was 14 degrees outside. Pancho waited until we were almost out of New Mexico before he came out of his blanket on my lap for his morning duty. Smart little dog.

We got here in about four hours. Good time I think. We are at a very friendly R.V. park called Tel-Tev. Yeah, strange name, but wonderful people here. Chuck just came in complaining he is not getting anything done cause everyone keeps coming over to be social. He like's it though, he is just kidding. The people here are not only friendly, most of them have dogs, so it is a very pet friendly place. There is a hugh field behind the park that you can take your dog into and let it run free if you want it to...or not.(that's if it comes to you when you call.....pancho is back to leash training again for not coming when called)

It is cold here also, but it has hit the high 40's....a big Whoo Yoo everyone. Mazatlan is 85 degrees today. Come on Frank and Dianne so we can get our wheels rolling. Oh, that's another thing, our friends called (that is Frank and Dianne) and they are going to be a couple of days late. Seems they have hit a snow storm in Abilene Texas. Now these two are from Illinois and it snows like crazy where they are from, so if they say they are sitting still for a snow and Ice storm, it has got to be quite a storm. So we are going to hang here in Tucson and see some sights. I got pamphlets and now I know what cost money therefor, what to skip. (I am cheap unless it is something I really want) However, there are some free Art Museums here and I am really into that, (poor chuck) so maybe we will go to one of those. Of Course, there is Toys R US, always a great source and entertainment and for the whole family there is PET SMART !!!
Pancho likes to growl at the mice and rat's and wants to kill them. I could spend two hours alone in that store if chuck was not with me. Lots to see and do there, especially when you have the pup with you.

On the road again.

Well, it's official. We are leaving Deming on November 30th and will arrive in Tucson AZ that afternoon. We will stay there until the morning of Dec 4th, at which time we will be on the road to Mexico.

Deming to Tucson

The cell phones will be put on hold (Dec 4th) until we reenter the US . Any correspondence will have to be via E-Mail which may be spotty. The blog will be updated whenever possible. Our Hughes net dish will likely not work after the 2nd day into Mexico, so will use WiFi whenever it's available.

You may or may not have noticed, but the Blog is now at a new address. The old one will be deleted shortly so if you have it bookmarked it will need to be changed. We will continue to send the link with updates, so no sweat if you rely on the E-Mails.

I will also update the Datastorm map as we go, so that link should stay up to date most of the time.

Gosh, Doesn't Chuck sound official!! He could be an announcer on a radio or a commercial!!! NO, a WEATHER man who is serious!! ha ha.
Actually at the time I am writing this, he is swatting flys around me and Pancho is running behind him eating them!! YYUUMM...Protein.

Now the boys have decided to go outside. Chuck to smoke and Pancho to protect him and to catch bugs. He is a great beetle and Ant killer. Actually, the Ant hole next to us that Pancho just loved is now gone. The Ants got tired of Pancho and moved. Really. Good Dog.

We spent Thanksgiving with a small part of Teresa's family. It was a wonderful time. I so enjoy her family. I just love her mom and all the rest. Teresa is surprised as the puppies were allowed in the house. When she was growing up as a kid Dogs were not allowed inside. Even their dog Katie is an outside dog. But Pancho and Clint once again won the hearts of all and melted that "stay outside" dog hell. I was extremely happy about that as Pancho would not of been happy if he could not be with everyone. He is a family member not a dog so he would not of understood. Clint had to be watched more as he is 25 pounds of pure puppy, making him a bit rough on the little kids. Clint was very happy however to entertain everyone with his cute antic's and the kids would pet him when he laied down for his nap. Oh, the official news about Pancho is he is now a LEG LIFTER for potty. He followed behind Chewie one day and watched Chewie potty. He copied him in the leg lifting dept. and now has decided that is what boys do. So he is a big boy now. He tried to get Chuck to do it, but Chuck does not teach very well so Pancho seems to of given up on that idea.

We had food that was out of this world. Everything turned out perfect for a change. Two turkeys and a ham, venison with red chili sauce, dressing, mashed potato's, a cheese and broccoli dish and a green bean dish. Of course hot rolls, cranberry's and other good stuff. I discoved the next morning that red chili and venison with sweet potatoes rolled in a tortilla is the most wonderful breakfast in the world!! The hot of the chilies and the cool of the sweet potatoes makes your mouth dance with pleasure!! Once again we hated to leave, but that is what makes visiting so wonderful.

Chuck and I are spending the next four days working at sorting out what we are and are not taking to Mexico with us. Not a hard job and I do not think it is going to take four days, but for sure we are taking our fishing poles.

Well, I guess I better get off my butt and get some things done around here.
We will keep updating as we can on our blog. Talk to everyone later.

Still in Deming

Hi Ya All!!
Long time no hear from us.....sorry. We have been busy. I will explain what we have been doing as I write and you can look at pictures. We are hanging around here until Poncho has his puppy shots before we take him into Mexico. I am taking the advice of some friends on RV net who suggested we make sure this is done before we go in as parvo and distemper are real dangers there for our little guy.
This first picture is of Poncho on one of his hunting excursions. Not one we are real happy about either. This is a feather. I had the camera on him as he was sniffing around, and all the sudden, up he comes with the feather and he saw me KNOWING I know he has it. See the guilt on his face. Needless to say, right after this picture he ran like a rabbit. He ate the feather on the run (seriously) and then he stopped running and was happy. Off to look for Rabbit poop. Yeah, puppies!!

This is my Uncle Gary. Notice him and his chi (that's chewie) look about the same. Dogs and Masters look alike I have been told. This was after a Turkey dinner Teresa and I had made. Everyone was full and it really shows with this picture. I am sure Gary is going to be real happy I posted this. hee hee, whats a good niece for if not to show off the family!!
I would of put a picture up of Chris, my Uncles Grandson, but he kept turning away from the camera, so that will have to wait. When your 14 a camera is NOT your friend.

This is what Teresa and I have been doing for the last few days. We have been putting her massage space together. This is not a great picture, but it does show some of it. Next time I will post a picture of the space done. It really looks good. It is up and running and she is seeing clients now. She is so busy that she is actually having to carry around an appt. book with her everywhere. She has decided to take only four patients a day for now as otherwise she will get to tired. She is doing massages six days a week. Well, actually five and a half days as Friday she does not go into her shop, she goes to a business and does chair massages from one to five. She is pretty tired after that. I guess when your good EVERYONE wants you. She loves what she does and it shows with how in demand she is. Heck, I wonder if I will ever get another massage from her now!!! (ha ha) Oh what!!! There is always Travis!! Yeah, I am a lucky mom.

In the meantime while the rest of the family is out working, going to school (chris) doing doggie yard duty keeping the rift-raft out of the yard (red dog...I will post a picture of her later) the pup's Clint and Poncho are making sure they keep up with their tug of war. That toy they have is Bandits (chewies son...another picture I need to post....damm this thing only lets us post five pictures at a time!!!) FAVORITE toy MONKEY!!! Bandit loves his monkey and these two brutes are tugging him!!! It was very nerve racking for Bandit to watch that. Clint is Teresa and Travis's little boy. He is four times bigger than Poncho and out weights him by four also. Poncho does not seem to know that. Like gary says, one foot tall with a ten foot attitude!! They have lots of fun together and are great play pals. They are the same age, so since they are on the same puppy shot program and time, it works that they at least have each other. Clint plays a lot with Red Dog as the other Chi's do not like playing with Clint. Being he is only nine weeks old, he does NOT understand why these little friends do not know how to play like a REAL puppy. If you look at Clints foot, it is resting on His purple pony. HIS favorite toy. No one gets Pony if the Big Boy is around!!

This is a picture of Teresa and Travis. Are they not the cutest couple?? Travis is an agent with Coldwell Banker here in Deming, so if you want to buy a house or property, give the kid a call. He is actually a great realtor. I am very proud of him. Especially when I am in Wal-Mart and people who have been Travi's clients come up to me to say hello to Chuck and I and tell us how wonderful and honest Travis is. We had a lady do the same when we were with Teresa also. Gee, I love that.
I can tell you that we are really proud of our kids. Travis and Teresa, Tracy and Nate.....Man, we are lucky parents. Yeah, and thank's to all of our friends who helped as the kids were growning up. Bill Needham for draging Travis across a sticker infested field to teach travis a lesson (we laugh about that still) to Tim and Gretchen for being there for Tracy and helping her Grow into the wonderful woman she has become..
Ok, enough of the sappy crappy stuff. On with life.

The other things that have been going on is lots of little things. Chuck has helped Gary build his garage so he can start his house. We had power put on the property (Gary and Chuck split the cost....that helped a whole lot) We have water here now....thanks to Gary. We are using his well. Then we have also been helping to do what we could to help the kids get into there own house they are remolding. Travis just got the Bathroom tiled and grouted. Chuck and Travis have been doing lots of carpentry work. They took off a garage door and enclosed it so the kids can make another room out of what was a garage. Lots more work to be done on the inside of it, but enclosed is good. Us girls got the rugs shampooed, painting done, etc, etc. and constant cleaning up after the guys.
Of course their is always a set back, and so far that is with the propane lines not holding pressure. Hopefully this will be solved this week so the kids can move into their new place this next weekend. Chuck went to the hardware store to get some sort of plumbing stuff for that. (I am probley not saying that correct, but that is man stuff....I don't do that sort of thing, so I stayed in the truck with Poncho)After this is solved, then comes going to Las Cruzes to get the stove and wire so they can get Clint's yard done to. Details, Details.
Gary killed a four foot rattlesnake on Sunday,so I guess I need to pay attention better to where I am walking while Poncho and I are exploring the desert. Poncho has started to get bolder and bolder and has been running away when he has something he does not want us to take away from him, so to help solve this, I am now going to be having him on a leash so he understands Come and Stay. Children, even furkids all need training!!
So this is it for now. They next posting will probley be pictures so you all can be caught up on family and pets. Depends on how much of a hassle it gives chuck. This picture posting took him two days it was being such a pain in the butts!!
So talk to everyone later.
